COOPER-HEWITT MUSEUM
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
PROGRAM
: Semester and summer internships are available at Cooper-Hewitt Museum.
The summer program includes The Peter Krueger Summer Internship, The
Lippincott and Marguiles Summer Internship, and the Smithsonian
Institutions's Minority Internship. All summer internships are
structured to include visits and special meetings with other New York
museum and design professionals, as a way to introduce the breadth and
diversity of the field. The summer internship program runs annually form
the second week of June through the second week of August. Paid
internships are offered only during the summer. During the academic
year, unpaid internships are available at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design
Museum, and the Smithsonian Institue.
